As someone who is a technical writer for a living, AI is definitely incapable of replacing me or other real, capable, skilled writers. However, people who write utter garbage, like "news" and SEO-farming nonsense? Yes, their "jobs" are going to be replaced, and I've already seen it happen all over the place. The Internet was already filled with garbage SEO-focused "writing" long before AI was popularized in recent years. AI has definitely made it worse, but the problem was there to begin with.

People like me might BRIEFLY lose our jobs for a short time due to incompetent executives making stupid decisions (imagine that), but as you mentioned in this video, the AI bubble WILL pop eventually, and the fallout of that is going to be significant for these companies who "fully embrace" AI today thinking it's going to set them up for success, when it is truly setting them up for catastrophe.

The Dragonlance Omnibus looks great, but I want to jump in and recommend the Annotated Dragonlance Chronicles, which is my go-to copy. It has little notes from the authors in each column and is an absolute delight. Awesome insight for writers and RPG fans.

Can’t believe those two keep giving WOTC another chance. It pains me so much to see authors continually fighting against a world they created but don’t hold the rights to.
