100% disagree. Fathers need to be present. Kids are priority, you shouldn’t be away from the for weeks. That’s how they grow up to resent you

That’s crazy to me that young men think “kids don’t need their fathers to be present”. And then immediately follow up with “well if you’re there then you’ll slip up and drink or lose your cool” as if that’s the only way to be a father who’s present. I don’t know if I would’ve uploaded this clip

This guy seems like she enjoyed his cool gifts from dad that was never there

This is such a great example of what NOT to do as a father! Thank you!

Yes and no. My dad wasn't around for the first 8 years of my life because he was working his ass off. And I respect him for that for sure. However, I do feel like growing up with him would have made my life better.

I swear these guys are just copying Tate and think they sound clever but really haven't thought it through

So this is more about being an idol and not losing unrealistic self image than being a father. That is not a grate life lesson.

You're just making stuff up because you're insecure of your imperfections. You're not supposed to be perfect, you're supposed to be there and show them how to deal with imperfections. Your idea of "more manageable" actually creates terrible images of you in kids' minds.

I'm not sure if this was uploaded as something to aspire to, but it's...not a good thing. It's surreal that this is being presented as a good thing. Kids need a very consistent positive parent presence in their lives to ensure healthy psychosocial development.

Im a supporter of most stuff Andrew Tate says (this is where this guy got this idea from) but this one ain’t it man. I’m a young father and I can tell you this one is dead wrong. Of course you need your time away to continue to become a great man but you absolutely need to be there for your kids for the rest of your life man. Hope you don’t buy into this philosophy david.
