My Dad was killed in a plane crash (military) when I was 6 years old (I'm 65 now) and my mother never remarried. She had a picture of my Dad on her nightstand all my life. She passed away recently as I whispered to her that she would soon be reunited with her precious husband, the love of her life. She never stopped loving him and this song gave me the sense of what life would have been like had they had their whole life together! Thank you, thank you, thank you for filling an incredible place in my heart with your words and music!

This song got me. I told both of my daughters to always find a man who treats them better than I treated their mom. I have been with my wife for 33 years and she has always been my queen! I have never told her no! Gave her everything I could possibly give her.
My oldest daughter got married to a fine young man in 2021 and he learned that lesson very quickly. One night my daughter jokingly called me (she was pregnant) and told me he would not go get her a pizza from her favorite place because it was snowing. When I showed up at their door, 45 miles from my house 1 hour later with that pizza he knew he messed up and has never made that mistake again. Now that my wife is sick, my son in law is the first person to check on me every day and treats my daughter better than I could have dreamed! God bless you for creating such a treasure of a song!

I come from an Asian country. From childhood until I grew up, I hardly felt too much love in my family. My father has many bad habits that make my mother and other family members very uncomfortable and angry. And my mother said that if it weren't for fate, she wouldn't have married him. Like what I said, there are actually times when they still care very much about each other and their family. So maybe when they got married, they weren't rich, and when I was born, things weren't any better, so they were always busy with work and forgot how to love and treat each other more gently. . . Maybe I have such a family so maybe I don't really know how to express what true love is. When I heard this song, I was really emotional. I wish I could meet someone who truly understands and helps me love that much. I wish I had a family with children born from the love of their own parents. The song is really good, thank you very much.
