if youre in a rip tide pulling you out to sea, just swim out of it by swimming along the beach line instead of trying to swim directly toward the beach. The water will then take you into the beach

How terrible to live in a country where you can get shot and killed by a stranger just going shopping. Horrific. The loss to these families is awful, senseless, and shocking to most of us who live in safe places. I am so sorry for them to be this unsafe doing ordinary chores.
