I don’t condone stealing, but with record high profits and people struggling to afford everyday items, what really should be done is lower prices. Too many retailers raised their prices too high, and they need to take responsibility for that by admitting wrongdoing and lowering their prices to balance out income/affordability.

I was contracted back in 1985 to fly back to Pontiac Michigan, from Australia, to do some mural work for the city. I noticed while there (the mural work was on the main road) and saw these police loading these, what looked like homeless people, on a bus. I was later informed that the buses would drop those people further up north in say Bay City or Flint? ... making it someone else's problem. I see nothing much has changed in the USA!
