As a respiratory therapist I find it fascinating how what we can control as in breath can really change a person's status in their health as far as asthma, or any other respiratory illness. Breath work is an untapped resource.

Whether DMT is involved or not, I practice these holotropic breathing exercises and breath holds, I’m able to hold my breath for 4 minutes. All I can say is that it’s an otherworldly experience. It’s fantastic.

Well, your guided breathing videos make my mind calm. I feel peaceful. DMT, NO DMT, does not matter, after a few months, you are a better person and thats what matters.

Even if a very small amount of DMT is released, it could have a positive effect on a person's empathy. I've definitely noticed my empathy has grown. This is common among those that have taken DMT. I've taken both DMT and 5-MEO-DMT. The latter really emphasized oneness/connection with all beings. This, for me, helped my empathy grow.
Even if no DMT is released, breathwork, for me, has opened the door to deeper levels of consciousness and other dimensions.

Deep meditation gives a natural high, makes your perception far richer and more lucid, as well as more centred, clarifying and calming. Might not be DMT like, not that I've tried that, but very worthwhile and life enhancing. Releases natural feel good endorphins into the system that do you a power of good.

Soma breath = 60-90 secs holding your breath that triggers intermittent hypoxia = access to Brain Gamma waves accessing superconscious = release bliss molecules called anandamide (natural occurring cannabinoid in our brain) Wala !!! stoned happy days, lol.

It does release DMT. If you do it right, your heart and brain may start to slow down and your body will think you're dying so it will start to exert DMT naturally.

I have watched some DMT trip reviews and a common trait is the ringing in the ears.
Then I did Wim Hoff and noticed how my ears ring louder and louder with each round - that's why I'm looking for evidence that it releases DMT

Plus yeah, I think we can all agree, it's the purest high that you can find

I experience that when I follow my personal desire for getting something special out of a breath, it just doesn't happen. But when I let go and wait for the right moment by listening mindfully to my whole being, intuitive intelligence sends some kind of message, and then when jumping into doing an exercise, it always results in a new and sometimes profound experience that leads to another bit of wisdom. So I say one can't willfully get something out of controlling ones being, but one can play along with being and over time get closer to a natural flow of life. There is a will, but it's not mine 🙂

You can squeeze it out by squinting in just the right way, sun gazing eyes open. Phone off. In tje woods. By yourself. Not even your dog BY YOURSELF means just that. It raises your frequency which raises your consciousness, vantage point and brain activity. From here you can keep going or you can enjoy where you're at. Create a wave of momentum and ride it out. Stay in front and you can't get tired.

The answer is yes. I've done DMT and on a separate occasion, after laying still for over 2 hours and only focusing on my breathing, I had an experience that was identical to my DMT experience. I just never "took off" through the Kaleidoscope of light like the time I did 5 meo.

I do DMT breathing almost daily, I've never done DMT but I know for a fact DMT is released. When I look up visual/audio trip simulations online, the visuals & audio hallucinations, they are SO strikingly accurate to what I hallucinate when I do breathwork. ESPECIALLY the audio hallucinations. I did some breathwork today & looked some videos up & I was shocked by how accurate the audio to the DMT simulations are. I see visuals too it's just not as strong since it's not like I actually took DMT as a drug. But there's no way that those simulations could be so accurate with what I see & hear when I do breathwork.

I had some DMT experiences before. I just did your 9 round video full and i got to say that with the last 2min retention and the last breath in hold (held it as long as possible) you definitely see and feel mildly similarities!

Look up Dr Joe Dispenza he's a neuroscientists & he's got a breathing technique that he uses during his meditations to help the body release DMT. He's an expert on the pineal gland as well. Tons of info w him explaining all this

Hello to both of you. Almost through with your book. Dr. Hubermann should breath more he his to alienated. What i have been doing for years is pranayama and can only recommend that to anyone. The indians knew the secrets of prana afes ago. 🙏Warm regards and remember your breath. Its the most valuable thing you have. Once it's gone you are gone. 🕉️
