Rare occasion when spiders are actually the hero and not the final boss

It's a real live ecosystem. An old man who was abandoned by his family.

My mom survived a stroke and developed dementia. My parents are 40 years older than me. So, they were already elderly while I was in my 20s. Even the most basic task was a challenge for her, dad and I took care of her. I was the only one earning and they had no retirement savings. I'm autistic (high functioning) and mute so I only got freelance work as I was too "disabled" for the corporate world to give me a chance. Somehow dad and I made her last few years comfortable. However, towards the end dad's health worsened too and I was caring for them both all alone. I ended up in ICU myself several times due to exhaustion, and I have heart problems myself. Lots of health issues despite being young because my parents had me in their 40s. I don't blame them for having me late, but can't help but wish I had more time with them. This video hit hard. After caring for someone with dementia first-hand., I can't imagine how this poor soul with dementia survived alone. It must've been very scary.🥺

Either way, I can’t even fathom the confusion, loneliness, and intense physical discomfort he endured — and either nobody noticed, or nobody cared :(
