There was something particularly scary about this level paired up with this track. The random bodies in acid baths on this stage didn't help much either lol.

There's really nothing quite like slipping into a nice, warm, relaxing bath...

There's just something creepy about a relatively normal level that ends way too soon. Then the fans discussing that one of them heard something coming from a room. Then they go in and open a sewer entrance and stumble upon a sewer full of violent thugs dissolving corpses in acid. Plus this creepy-ass music. Even the title is unnerving.

Seriously, when you kill dogs you have an animation in which you are stuck for 2 seconds. Tony pls.

Aside from the melting corpses, the other disturbing thing in those sewers was watching that one generator seemingly rock to the beat.

Probably this is the creepiest level in both of 2 games. And Apocalipse was a total mindfuck though.

It totally slipped through my mind that this level was actually a secret torture chamber. I'm just imagining one of the fans getting knocked down, only to be tortured and put into acid like the rest.

Jesus, this music still gives me the god damn wilies. The damn bodies in the bathtubs, I'm surprised there wasn't a cut-scene with the crew involving that.

The scariest part about the Sewer level was walking past the bodies in the acid and having this music playing in the Background.

This level was really something else, given the sudden LEVEL CLEAR, and then you're thrown into something new with this track, it felt like you were going way further than you should and like you, the player, were about to get in some IRL problems with some sort of curse

I think i understand what made the acid baths in the sewer so memorable.
Usually in Hotline miami you're killing with high energy, fast pace and the enemy is killed almost immediately.
This music captures how well the area contrasts with this. These men are dead and cold and yet, their violence is slow and never ending until they are literally turned into no more.
There is no peace, there is only horror preformed in the dark where no one can see.

This level was not scary
I mean yeah it was fucked up that the gangsters were using the sewers to flush decomposed liquidated flesh of dead people
but that just drove me to hate them even more.
