I usually apply some copper anti-seize between the clips and pads to avoid squeals

⁠you need to Lube the sliding surface of the pads where they rub on the new clips you put on. You put the correct lube on so the pads can contract and retract as necessary to help prevent uneven pad wear.

Also need to check, clean and lube the caliper pins. Check the caliper bin boots to make sure they are not damaged.

Should I change both sides or the side that is bad? Will it hurt if I don't get the rotors turned? Does have a few grooves. But have to wait for the money a week or two. Thanks you make it look so easy. 😢 gonna do mine tomorrow, at least try😅 Thanks 🫡

Hey bud, thanks for the instructional video, but I think you got your rotors on backward. You can google the explanation for it. But other than that, great vid 👌🏽 pretty straight forward job. Hopefully, by now, you've figured out how to compress the pistons with a screwdriver/prybar before taking off the caliper the to make the job a little quicker 🤙🏽

I thought you had to break the fluid line to retract the rotors then bleed the air out once done?

Bro didn’t lubricate anything or brush off anything at all. It looked pretty clean so he’ll probably be fine but don’t be surprised if one pad locks up and the other gets ground to nothing.

Do the fancy rotors really help with warpage? Can they be turned?

Make sure you depress both cylinders simultaneously! Don’t do 1 at a time. Use an old pad and a clamp.
