I replace the break pads on my 2013 Ford F-150. This is a detailed tutorial that should allow the most novice home mechanic tackle this job. Please hit me up with any questions!
Thanks for Watching.

If you notice I installed the inner and outer pads backwards. Be careful to make sure you install the pads on the coorsponding sides of the rotor that the pad is labelled. Here is a great link below to show that in detail.

The best quick video I've seen! 💯

Those pads are installed incorrectly, the pad with the two humps or two round edges goes on the inner side where the two calipers are. The other one goes on the outside.

When you took the clamp off, did they stay compressed?

You need new rotors (the one in the vid is cut-up from the metal of the old pad). That is why your inside pads wear down so fast.
Rotor surface should be smooth like a CD.

I have been in the car with you plenty of times, I might have an idea of why your breaks are going fast 😜

You didn't clean and grease the pins where you bolt the calipers onto. That's easy to do and an important step to make sure your caliper doesn't bind up and your pads wear evenly.

Brake pads are being installed incorrectly. The pad with the ears goes on the inside of the rotor, not the outside. Also, there is a major issue with this caliper because the inside pad was completely worn out and the outside pad was almost new.

Good video! Thanks for the info! And the link you provided! But I read a comment about the realesing the calibur? I do it how you did it so it's that the wrong way?

Hey man, did you ever find out why the pads wore so bad on the inner and didn’t wear evenly? Having the same problem

F'n brake-snobs!
So what if the pad has worn completely down to the base metal !?!
The rotor is metal too. Not cardboard.
What you worried about?

Gonna' call your mommy now and panic ?!

Try a bicycle.
No rotors to panic about.

What you gonna say next?
That maybe I should worry about rusted out break lines?
They're metal too.
And guess what, Sherlock, metal rusts.
Fact a' life.

---Just deal with it !!

Should be careful compressing pistons without relieving fluid at the bleeder valve. Sometimes back pressure can damage the abs

I gave you a thumbs down, because with a pad down to metal, you should have inspected rotor surface and explain the importance of have a smooth rotor surface
