I am glad that there is an option where you can create videos, without the need to show your face. I admit that I have a nervous reaction with a camera pointing towards me. I've been running my channel since 2009, and faceless is basically the standard for me and my entire YouTube sector — I'm doing piano tutorials, so the basic shot is just the keyboard from overhead. I have noticed that it's much harder to get visibility with JUST that overhead shot these days, so I've started using much more variety in the form of captions, stills, animations etc. Interestingly, cutting in face-to-camera stuff is usually *less* effective than sticking with the overhead keyboard and using, say, animation over the top.
