You know what we also need, ?
consistent application of these laws . Coz that has been lacking recently, to much is up to the interpretation.

Tbh I definitely think the rules should be more lenient in terms of red cards like when players make contested catches and someone lands the wrong way can't allow contested catches and not expect results like that then ruin a whole game with a red card

Laws are subject to interpretation from Referee, we need to simplify Rugby, So hands on the Floor before ball is allowed. Great Video though guys👏🏾🇿🇦❤️

I will be completely satisfied going forward if these changes create more game time. Thankyou. X

I'd like to see if the line out isn't contested in the air but the ball isn't thrown straight it's play on..

The laws were never the problem it’s those that enforce them that are the problem. Most of the laws are down to interpretation which is wrong and is always going to lead to controversy and disagreement

We need more rules as I think I saw a game that had about 20mins of time in play which is unacceptable. We need more rules so the refs can demonstrate they know all the rules and if anything is missed, we now have a production team looking through the past aspects of the game to ensure more rules are enforced 5mins past the infringement. So long as we have more scrums and scrum resets and the game is dictated by the refs interpretation of an encyclopedia of rules then I'm happy. I saw a game once where there was running rugby the ref enforced the rules to enable play to happen and people where happy in stands, and frankly I made me sick in the stomach because I knew that there was a referee out there not getting his time to shine.

Rules are too interpretive. Too complex and are putting young people off rugby.

Instead of looking at the “how much times a player does damage from a certain technique/old law or whatever . How about we look at the times where that scenario has occurred and collect data on the times where a player has not been seriously injured. I bet it’ll be in the 90% compared to the times where a player has come out second best.

The "advantage law" is ridiculous! What do we want to achieve by it? If someone knocks on, and the opposition gets the ball, then them having the ball in their possession, is advantage enough. It's equal to them feeding the ball into a scrum at that same mark, and use the ball however they want. Why must they have additional field advantage? Just blow for scrum, I say.

Same for penalty advantage... How can you have an advantage line that a team MUST cross? Play goes on for 5 minutes behind the advantage line, and only when the team who has advantage makes an error, you call them back ALL the way for a penalty. 5 Minutes wasted. Just give the penalty in the first place and let them decide if they want to kick for touch or tap and run. Another problem is, advantage on the try-line, you might as well award a try! The defending team has no chance at all.
It's becoming an unfair contest. Teams must be clever; when there is advantage against you near the try-line, the aim must be to kill the ball, even if it cost another penalty. The game must then stop.

So is it still a underhand forward pass, or something closer to American football pass now?

Just call it tough rugby with the amount of penalties that'll be coming our way
