Hey guys, we will show you how to remove A/C Line on a car with a disconnect tool. Some vehicle comes with a tool that is attached to the a/c line but they do not work very good.
MAKE SURE THE A/C SYSTEM IS EMPTY AND THERE IS NOT PRESSURE BEFORE DISCONNECTING A/C LINES.
This will be helpful for most modern vehicles. Many manufacturers use this time a/c line with spring. Some are: Ford, Mazda, Lincoln, Jaguar, some asian, american, and european automakers as well.

Wow, I have the jaguar disk with the manual and it just said use a suitable tool to remove it. I didn't know you have to use a fuel line tool. You saved my ass again.

Thanks so much sir! Working for Lexus/Toyota, all our AC lines are flange fittings with bolts. This self locking style is strange, to me at least. Thanks for demonstrating how easy it is to remove!

really good video, I am working on an old 1986 ford motorhome and need to remove an a/c line to replace the condenser, my connection had the tool hanging on the line and I thought it was from the fitting that had broke, lol now I know how to take it apart, thanks very much for posting !! cheers from Calgary, Canada.

The Haynes manual said I needed 'Ford Special Tool 412-069, but these will be perfect. Saved me a big headache, thanks, though I can only find 'your' set at £27 ($35). Bought a smaller ring-version for £4 now I know what I'm looking for.
