can replacing this hose affect the evaporator? mine was replaced and now the ac does not work. low pressure is around 60 and high around 200. i was told that replacing the hose can affect the evaporator for some reason. can't understand how or why.

Got a 2009 Tacoma, same procedure? Seems like it (maybe torque different??). Which AC lube on oring? PEM oil?
