I actually own the snare drum Paicey used for this show. Their gear was en route to Illinois and they flew in to Barrie to support the Live 8 effort. My friend the late great Paul Frederick (RIP) of Pearl asked if Ian could use my cherished snare - an Ian Paice signature model. Of course the answer was a resounding yes! it was a great show. And no, the drum is not, nor ever will be for sale :)

Love when that bass comes in! I remember my freshman year in college with this girl blasting it from her dorm room across the way to the other dorm and it was reverberating off the walls. I knew I was gonna love college life!

I like the Deep Purple group lineup but except for Steve Morrissey he has his own twists to and I don't like it twist to Smoke on the Water I like more of Ritchie Blackmore style a plain or I would have loved to see what's his name the other good guitar player I can't think of his name but Steve Morrissey I was no fan of his I didn't like the way he played in the Deep Purple songs

I love these guys. I made recordings like this. With my Mobile Recording Truck, also. And you can hear. He's got no real-time digital processing running on his vocal microphone. How come? Oh? It's almost 20 years ago. Before we ever had that stuff running in real time on Digital Mixers. How stupid of me? That's what he sounds like crap. He's an old man and can't hit the high notes anymore. And the guys don't know to tune their guitars, one note down. You still play them the same way. And then he'll be able to hit the high notes. But you have to tweak your electronic tuners for that offset. Oh well? Nobody thought to do that. So he has herniated his testicles. You could hear it. In his pain. It sounds painful. And a fire in this guy. Without his Preparation-H. At this age. It sounds painful. And that was almost 20 years ago! Think what he sounds like today? Ouch!

I'm sure the tour with plenty of Preparation-H.
