SIMPLE EPIC !!! Rolling Stone magazine once said "There are moments on this album that have never been surpassed in the history of rock and roll."

This is the best version of a song, that has been spinning in my head for over 40 years. Such a great beginning and such a wonderful end.

A perfect song. The entire band was on on fire. Under appreciated band.

Smoke on the Water is one of those venerable, old, hard rock tunes whose guitar riffs, organ, drums, etc., still hold up well as we close in on 2024. Some of this classic rock will live on, at least, as long as I'm alive, and I'm sixty.

Roger Glover one of the most under appreciated bassist
of all time and Ian Paice takes a back seat to no one.

One of those instances in which a live version clearly outdoes the album cut.

Ritchie nails the solo man he made that guitar sing a sweet sweet tune.

The onliest Smoke on the Water guitar solo I’ve known all my life. The album studio version sounds pretty tame to me, I like the spontaneous riffs here. Wow!

Love when Glover comes in at Love the trebly sound of a Rickenbacker bass.

These were the good old days, so glade I had the chance to grow up in the 60s and 70s when things were simple

That bass entering the song dirty and crunchy at 1:15 is the best part of the song. "Keep that G coming all day long"

Every part of this is perfect. Paice's driving drums, Glover's gritty Bass Line, Ritchie's Guitarship, Gillians amazing screaming vocals and Lord is just sublime.

Ritchie Blackmore on lead..very unique very awesome ! !
An Epic live performance and Lord's solo at the end was the icing on the cake.
