I have been diagnosed with major depression and anxiety and have been on prescribed medications. I have been with a therapist who has submitted all my medical records and diagnoses to SSDI. I just wonder why I am having to go to a mental psyc. evaluation next week?

I was born with Cerebral Palsy and I've been receiving benefits since 1990 and I was recently told to have a physical and mental exam by the DDS. I'm confused cause I read that it only happens when I file an application for the benefits but I never filed an application. Is this normal?

I just completed my SSA mental health exam 3 days ago. And SSA has all of my medical records. I have outpatient appointments with medical and mental health doctors each month regularly. I'm currently on 6 different medications. 2 of the medication are for mental health. My disability is Cryptococcus meningitis, AIDS diagnosis, Bi polar and major depression disorder. I haven't worked in 6 months since I file my claim here in Georgia. What are my chances of getting an approval?

I have one tomorrow in really anxious, if i dont get apprved in getting a lawyer. One of my friends told me i have worse issues than him and he got approved to get ssi with a lawyer so he told me i need to get one if i get denied again. My therapist knows i need ssi, my family does, i have enough trauma for a lifetime and on top of my PTSD i have Autism and Innattentive ADHD

Hello, my husband just applied and he has to do a mce. We don’t have a date as they just sent the letter and a form he has to fill out and return to social security. He has so issues and has been diagnosed with anxiety and is in so much pain daily due to his medical conditions. He does still
Work but only 4 hrs a day and dr said he’s looking at permanent disability.
