Thank you so much! Rebuild database option worked for me. It was the 6th option for and the 2nd choice from then. After that it now reads discs. Thanks again for your help!

I have a brand new PS5, and the third day it stopped reading discs. I talked to the support fellas and now i’m waiting a solution. it’s a really sh*tty system.

I already install my GoW Ragnarok and I didn't play it for 3 months and then when I decided to play the game it say's "Unreadable Disc"

I got a brand new PS5 today with a brand new copy of Spider-Man 2, & it won't read the disc. Ridiculous that this is even an issue.

I tried rebuilding database, soft reset and full factory reset. It still does not read discs, only dvd's.

Does this also include when the ps5 reads the disc but crashes the game like 2-5 minutes into the game?

My PS5 is Brand New and when i insert whatever disc in it, it doesn't make any sound, like if was trying to read it. I'm a bit clueless about what to try to do here.

Thank you. Restarting the console from save mode did work! A storage problem from Modern Warfare fucked up my database 😂

Option 5 says “Restore Default Settings” and option 6 says “Clear Cache and Rebuild Database” which one do I do?
