Access Your Raspberry Pi Desktop from Anywhere with Internet

In this video, I'll show you how to access your Raspberry Pi desktop with a remote connection. You can use this to log in to your Pi from any other computer that is connected to the internet. All that's needed is a Raspberry Pi and an ethernet cable or WiFi adapter/dongle.

Even better: Try to use a service like DynDNS on the Pi! What it does, is to forward your external address to that service and then tie it to a domain that belongs to you. You would then only have to visit that domain to get to your Pi. Since the Pi keeps running from your home it would just keep informing DynDNS about potential IP-address changes automatically.

This approach here breaks as soon as either the local or the external address changes and that could happen within a day.

Right now I'm in quarantine, but now I can open the desktop on my Raspberry Pi from my desktop, awesome video that helped me a lot. Very clear step by step instructions. A little slow and quiet, but I just turn up the audio and playback speed.

This may be obvious to many of you but it was not to me. Using the xrdp works fine on my private IP when I'm at home,  but does not work with my public IP at home ! I had to test it at my friend's place and then it worked great.

but don't forget that your public ip will change any time and you need to know it every time . for this reason we are using a ip stack that no-ip is one free one

Does audio from the Pi work when remote accessing it?
I'm wanting to record footage from the Pi but so far haven't found an answer that doesn't involve a capture card, and though screen capture via rdp might be the answer?

Hi sir, I have a query. I want to remotely connect to my jetson nano from my windows PC. My jetson nano is connected to a 4g dongle and so is my PC. Therefore, I have two 4g dongles. Both are of the same sim cards, with the same ISP and data plan. May I know if you have any solution to this? Thank you, would be of great help.

I’ve a question. Why I have to connect inserting the Ip address of my windows PC rather than the Ip address of my raspberry pi?
In my case I have the raspberry directly connected to the modem by LAN cable.
