Powercreep in Honkai Star Rail; How Bad is it?

To the people in the comments who say that there's no powercreep in the game, you're wrong. There is powercreep. The characters are getting stronger but the content isn't getting harder to the point that older units can't keep up. That's why powercreep isn't a massive problem yet, but it's still there.

This game is the worst when it comes to powering creeping. They don't even try to hide it, yet again, the free characters can clear the same content, just with a little added level of difficulty.

sparkle can run together with bronya for use on skill efficient teams like jing liu and will replace the carries speed so you can run atk boots.

Powercreeping in HSR exists more then in genshin.
Honestly tho, it's not as bad as it seems. The main reason why is seems so bad is because some people don't build their 4* characters properly, and they might prioritize newer characters over older ones because...they're new.
My Misha is super op at weakness breaking(because I built him like that) and I don't lose in simulated universe using remembrance path(most of the time). It all depends on how you built them.

I think your opinion is a bit overblown. It's true that jingliu and dhil are stronger than other dps (a little bit), but it isn't that bad. Everything just comes down to the comp and build you are running on a character. For example, my E0S1 Jing Yuan can easily clear the first half of moc 12 in 2 cycles which is faster than my friends kafka dot comp with black swan.

Honkai Impact 3rd needs some power creep especially when talking about the 3 main characters and them learning to use their herrscher powers

You can clear the main story with anything. I care the most about it so I see 0 powercreep in the game. Other stuff I do for fun not clearing everything but having fun. You're basically paying not to have fun if you're not whaling in the game and try to clear everything.
