before i watch... Acheron I think it's gonna take alot for her to get powercrept and it would mainly be due to her not receiving a secondary premium support. When you think about it most Acheron teams are Acheron, SW/Pela, jiaoqui, and aventurine s1. If they give her someone to replace SW/Pela she is staying in the meta for a very long time. For firefly...this is gonna sound crazy but i think shes already showing signs of powercreep. This is also gonna sound dumb but I think with the introduction of Lingsha and Fugue she herself is put in a weird spot. Ruan Mei, HMC, and Lingsha are what make break teams so good. Unlike Acheron, everyone can use FF's best supports. i mean the amount of Himeko/Lingsha 0-cycle clears I'm seeing recently is kinda insane. But you won't see anyone running some other character in spot of acheron because her kit makes her teammates useful to her not the other way around. For Feixiao its too soon to tell but the bad thing about her is that shes at her max. Her best teammates include Topaz, Robin, and Aventurine and I don't think they will be getting replaced any time soon. Feixiao is also in the same boat as FF. Quite a few characters can be swapped in for feixiao such as Dr.Ratio, M7, Yunli, and Jinyuan. Although Feixiao may be the strongest overall...it's not by a lot.

TLDR: Acheron's kit is so unique it's gonna take quite a bit to end her while FF and Feixiao will definitely see a drop earlier.

it's always hard to imagine how powercreep will look until it happens but no, nobody's immune. It's just a matter of time so enjoy using your waifus and husbandos and kiddos for as long as you can

Kind of unfair to say that FF and Acheron will be powercrept but then say that feixiao will not because of the whole team, honestly feixiao herself could be overshadowed by any new shinny DPS just like the other ones.

Some of these sound a bit heavy handed. The EHR change for example would essentially kill all old gen nihility units. The normal way for things get powercrept is for new characters to release with gradually increasing power, normalizing higher multipliers etc and then endgame mobs have their EHP increased to compensate.

If either change in their own is too impactful or sudden players feel bad, but by hitting old units somewhat on both ends they lose relevancy

Powercreep Acheron just by making more powerful harmony. Most people don’t have E2. Make the nihility limitation more painful. They’re arguably about to do that with the next patch.

every META can be powercrept its up to them to make it tho
1.Acheron thru HIGH debuff resists or even immunity this will make her stacks regain SLOW unless you put speed boots on her to counter this which will still make her weaker
2.Firefly the most obvious one ... Toughness reduction immunity like monkeys, trotter, sam etc... theres already a bunch of them
3.Feixiao shes the hardest to powercreep just cause among the 3 archetypes i still thinks shes the weakest cause shes more GENERAL and Striaghtforward unless they put an ENEMY counters FOLLOW up attacks (most old games have this already)

I wouldn’t say impossible but rather extremely difficult

Acheron scales with an entire path meaning any future Nihility characters have a chance to make her team comp improve

Feixiao not only has the FuA working with her but with the Banana set it’s likely going to be entering the summon meta pretty soon which she could benefit from as well depending on how they are implemented (I.e. something like how the Trashcan event was)

Firefly’s direct check already exist in-game with the toughness immune enemies but as of the newest MoC with the exo-toughness mechanic (which will definitely be on a character’s kit sooner or later), they’d keep her around a long time on top of being a fan favorite character

Acheron feels like she is falling off a bit, but she can shoot back up because future nihility units can amplify her back up again.

I don't think they can lock break team away since it's a basic part of hsr gameplay mechanic, or at least they can't make like half of the enemies lock their toughness. Not to mention there is Apocalyptic Shadow whose whole gimmick for now is break

They will 100% be power crept. They will be power crept hard at E0's. So new/low spenders will want to pull on new units. This will also force people that have older characters at E0 to pull on their Eidolans to make them more viable.

If we take the fact that Acheron and Firefly pretty much got "powercrept" by Feixiao than they can't be immune to powercreep. Its just the fact that Acheron and Firefly recently got new supports(Jiaoqiu and Lingsha respectively, but superbreak has another support on the way as well) so they stay relevant longer.

To be honest i think that acheron's team is still incomplete in comparison to firefly's or feixiao's. The biggest difference between 1.x and 2.x is how the team works and right now the best team in my opinion is follow-up that doesn't count only on one dps, but every character has some utility (and all the characters are 5*). Super break just received an upgrade with lingsha and will soon receive another one, acheron's team on the other hand has at least a 4* (pela if acheron is e0), two if you use gallagher. Even aventurine that is very good for acheron is better in the follow-up team, so i feel like she needs to receive at least another character that will replace pela and maybe also a dedicated sustain. I don't know how hoyo wants to do things, but acheron is also a mei's expy so maybe they want to let her be relevant for more time. Same with firefly that is a very popuplar character i feel like hoyo wants to let her be relevabt for a long time. Maybe i'm wrong, we'll see i guess

The fact that Firefly has an innate fire weakness implant means she's practically impossible to powercreep in break comps. Any other superbreak dps that can implant respective weaknesses will most likely be a side grade. If enemies somehow disables or nerf break effects, Firefly isn't the one getting creeped. It's every single superbreak comp out there.

Acheron, Firefly, and Feixiao, can all be powercreeped, Even with the talk of Firefly's Fire weakness, they could release someone with more Weakness Break efficency, and could have Muiti Element weakness Break (Like a Mixture of Quantum, Fire, Physical, Ice, Imaingary) and can trigger Muitiple elements Break effect at once while being a 100% Colorless breaker.
Feixiao can be Powercrept, Though even saying that, her powercreep could very much be her best driver when it comes to Stacking her Ultimate. So Feixiao's powercreep really benefits her.
Acheron's main Shtick is DPS per Screenshot through Stacking her ult, That can easily be Powercrept to the point where even an E2S1 Acheron is considered Inferior to that E0S1 or even E0S0 DPSes DPS numbers. Other then that, I don't think you can get much better then Acheron's Technique and that DPS would probably need E6 Acheron's Colorless nature at a much lower Investment as well as being able to reduce Enemies res.

I think they won't be completely phased out . Out of all the teams Fexiao is going to be more prevalent because she just came out . Firefly is also going to have more support given upcoming units . *cough*Ting*cough* . And acheron at e2s1 scales harder then all the other top 3 dps in my opinion . Sadly she will be gone pretty soon .
