Would sizing up not help with sheerness? Seems like fabric is too stretched

I tried the “warp knit” adidas leggings when they first came out and they were tiny too! They fitted so well and made me feel GORGEOUS, but during a stretching session post leg day, a personal trainer came up to me. He said the leggings were so sheer they were practically a window! 😂
