Im mostly excited for the Harbor Master’s Office set, it’ll go along great with the old fishing store, the motorized lighthouse, and the Jaws set. I’m really excited for the Halloween GWP!

Lego sales are in trouble from my corporate insider. People are hurting and can’t afford 100 sets much less 400 to 500 sets. Also big indicator of sales problems is the lord of rings double vip points. People are maxed out and aren’t able to buy or swipe. Keep up the great videos and can’t wait to see your Lego room

One of my exes birthday is the 8th, (we are friends- it’s all good lol) so I will remember your bday and also likely be watching the stream for the BDS sets- I’m tempted this time around- before it felt a bit too exclusive & pricey & I opted to not even look at the sets bc I didn’t want to stress myself out lol..

As far as the Wednesday sets- honestly, yes they’re hideously priced- however, there are a few new moulds & recolours that are super badass & Halloween-esque.. I wish the US had sales like, immediately, like Europe etc, but I might cave & grab one of them just for parts.. the Wicked sets look cool as well- albeit the cursed buildable figures creep me out, but those too have new or at least new to me parts & colors- luckily, you can always make the characters into minifigs, mostly.. I agree that minidolls feel like non-lego, but they’ve nailed the printing on them- I wish they’d increase quality of prints on minifigs- like the colors etc.. some are incredible and others are horrendous. Also just noticed today that on the new Burrow set, there’s a misprint on the sticker for the clock where they literally misspelled “school”.
I get that they’re trying to increase profits and not Jack up prices too much, but instead I feel like in some instances, they’ve lowered the bar on quality control, or flat out don’t pay QC enough to care about minuscule details, and with some sets (not all), they’ve really given us like, half of a build, which is great for them bc people like me will either want to buy 2 sets or use pick a brick online to make them feel like full sets.. also, the pricing across the board just doesnt make a ton of sense. IP or not, some are great price wise, and others are awful.
I wish at least they’d make calendars for releases and promos again- some people and definitely kids really want certain sets- and some of their official reveals lately have been like, a week or 2 before the set is to be released- or a promo that someone wants- or double points- it’s not quite feasible for a lot of people to justify dropping a bunch of $ on plastic with little notice- so, there you have it. I’ve aired my grievances with the lego group, and yes, those battery warnings are hideous. I understand it’s a law- but put it on the side flap- so at least the box art isn’t entirely ruined. Some people use boxes as backdrops for displays- idk. LEGO is trying to figure shit out just like all of us- but they’re going to drive more people away with this crap.

Regardless- I’m still catching up on sets I want before retirement, and at this rate- if I really want them- I’ll likely be selling half my collection I have lol.

Please stop complaining about prices & the battery warning label. Especially the warning label! It is now US Law that the label has to be there. This is not Legos doing, so stop blaming them. They are merely compliant in order to sell the set stateside.
