October 1st is another big release day for LEGO, with a new Batmobile, an excellent Super Mario World set, the final Star Wars UCS set of the year and 3 new sets launching including LEGO Fortnite, Wicked and Wednesday. What are you planning on getting?

I absolutely love the Mona Lisa set! And I think it’s because it kind of embodies what art actually is. It’s subjective.. some will love some paintings and some will hate other paintings it’s all open to interpretation. Thats what this Mona Lisa set does… That’s why I love it haha 🩵

Definitely agree on the Mona Lisa. I think it's because the other art sets are able to convey detail that isn't necessarily there, your mind kind-of subconsciously fills in the intricacies in a way it doesn't do with some bricks roughly human shaped.

Honestly the only 2 sets here that I like are the fortnite supply lama and the banana skeleton figure. Im dissapointed that there isnt more halloween sets, cheaper halloween sets, not everyone can buy the 200$ set.

Im also dissapointed that the batmobile wont have steering or a representation of an engine

I like the batmobile but no opening doors, no engine and no steering is a deal breaker for me. I might pick it up in a sale at some point

The sail barge also comes with a gift with purchase. So it’s expensive but you are getting two sets of you get it opening day

I've no interest in Fortnite but the Burger looks a lot of fun and the bus looks like it might have some very interesting parts.

I honestly cant say there is one set i really want from that lot, i like the Batman car but im happy with the previous smaller one i already own. At least my wallet will still like me.

I think the fortnite things are a bit cheaper, cost per piece, because Lego fortnite is a thing they would want to push. The Mario really is one to display on something with a closed back

Being a massive musical theatre nerd who’s recently got into Lego… upon seeing the Wicked sets… I do not need them… I have nowhere to put them! I do not need them…. I have nowhere to put them! 🙈 saying this knowing it’s highly likely I will own at least one by the end of the year! 😂

I'm not a fortnite person but I love the look of that bus so it's a must. Star Wars is one on my themes but I'm torn over the over-pricing of the Jabba Sailbarge. They know how to push our buttons though with that gwp lightsaber. If I'm weak and take a trip over to liverpool Lego Store on the 3rd October it's highly likely I will cave in on it. But my head is saying don't buy it because it's too long and will take up a whole shelf. Your so right in saying lego love to make problems for us and our credit cards.

The Batmobile looks great, Old school classic. I love the Star Wars movies but not enough to throw loads of money into expensive shelf ornament, dust collectors. If it don’t move, why buy it ?
