I think this applies to users with light workloads but not others. I flag anywhere between 10-25 messages per day which aren’t time sensitive, to stay on top of time sensitive matters, then circle back when time allows to clean up flags. Breaking every flag out into a task would be a huge step backwards in productive time, for me at least.

Good message today. TYVM. New question: TODO app on Win11 and on Android has no ability to assign nor to view "Categories" for tasks. Seems fundamental. Will the new Planner have Categories? Is there a good workaround to get the category functionality? I need this for my GTD functionality. Thank you.

We have an issue with Outlook. Besides email accounts linked to individual users, we also have shared mailbox because I didn't want one email to fill five separate mailboxes. The problem is that we can't move group emails to Tasks like this. Is there a way to solve this?

Have you started using the new Outlook yet? I reverted back to the old Outlook many times but this last time I have stayed with the New Outlook as they have improved it.

I expect that moving an email into a task will remove it from the inbox and all replied, forwarded, etc. tags cannot be used for that email. IMHO this will lead to a mess and make it impossible finding the email later in e.g. a sales team shared mailbox. Correct me if I’m wrong.

you can't creat a task from the email on Outlook for Mac, you have to flag it so it"s added to your Tasks in To Do App

Thanks, but this does not allow me to add the task to my existing plans in planner. So it will be no different than flagging the mail
