4 Steps to Create a To-Do List

To-do lists are more than just reminders; they harness several psychological principles to boost productivity. One key concept is the Zeigarnik Effect, which tells us that our brains tend to remember unfinished tasks. When you start working on a task but do not complete it, thoughts of the unfinished work will probably continue to pop into your mind even when you've moved on to other things. These thoughts urge you to go back and finish the task you started. By writing tasks down, you keep them fresh in your mind, increasing the likelihood you'll complete them. Understanding this effect helps us appreciate why to-do lists are such powerful tools for maintaining focus and driving productivity.

What really helped me to stay focused is Focusmate. I tend to be easily distracted, but having another person working alongside me is completely eliminating distraction. I am laser focused as long there is another person visibly working on their own stuff.

Akiflow good. Amplenote better. why?

Love how you subtly showed the akiflow application while explaining task management. Akiflow looks great with cool design and features. But I am afraid that's not the whole thing. Like how get we random thoughts throughout the day, they need capturing (joy down). Then while we are at it they need processing i.e elaborate on the 'note' or store them for future use. Then make 'tasks' from the notes as required. And finally having the notes side by side to drag into the calendar. This jot>note>task>calendar is the base of AmpleNote. Called Idea execution funnel. I just loveeee❤ this complete process of AmpleNote. Please try it and share your review on a future video. While I see that Amplenote is not as cool designed as Akiflow, it is better in functioning and have good enough design. Please try it and share your review on a future video.
