The problem with tasks is that there is no way (as far as i can tell) to get a reminder alert about doing the task. It's weird to have a "reminder" that does not remind. Events on the other hand do have the alarm feature, and therefore it is events that are actually able to "remind" you.

so basically ...tasks never go away until completed.
but you have limited information you can include in a task.
they should have a note option to add to the callendar...just a note....no title ..just a simple note for journalling and the like
"saw sharon today, she was gorgeous"
"ankle hurting maybe i should see a doctor"
and mingle these messages amongst your events and tasks
