We will be looking at LPN,ASN and BSN. I didn’t bother to talk about the ones after BSN since you can’t do those programs without a bachelors degree. I’m a BSN prepared nurse and while I’m very grateful for my experience i find that when ppl get their ADNs they can start working get there feet in the door and have their facility supplement their BSN degree saving money and almost being the same time . Great video !!!!

Awesome video and great explanation! I'm currently a ADN prepared nurse. The hospital I'm employed with has been awarded Magnet Status and employs more BSN nurses at the bedside vs ADN. With MSN nurses being in leadership/management roles. Nursing is forever changing and one of the many reasons I love it. I am working my way up like you explained started nursing as a LPN. utilizing benefits from my employer to fund BSN then MSN. 😌

Even if I was in the position to get my ADN I still would get my lpn first just to make sure that's the correct route in the medical field for me.

Thank you for this video Key! My nursing school has an LPN track that lasts 1 year and an additional ADN track that lasts 15 months. We’re able to get our BSN online, but as for right now I think I’ll work towards my ADN after I graduate as an LPN and take it from there. As an “alumni”, I save lotttts of $$$ on tuition. We’ll see how life goes!
