NPs are the result of a failing healthcare system. Soon only those belonging to a concierge practice will be able to see a MD/DO. Soon, Insurance providers will not cover a MD/DO charge unless referred by a NP. Then it will be a very long wait. Wendy's fry cook to playing doctor, Online!

NPs are literally the most undertrained and incompetent providers in the US Healthcare system. It’s scary how these people get such medical authority with such little training. At least PAs have standardized education expectations and requirements and are governed by the medical board. NPs have neither. No standardized education requirements or baseline expectations and not regulated by the medical board.
