With every video, I use a RODE MICROPHONE. This is one of the BEST Mics I have found for VLOGGING. Check it out at the link (paid) below!

When recording videos I also have my camera a tripod which also comes with a cell phone holder! You can find the link (paid) below!

If you have seen some of my oldest videos or my Puerto Rico Rain forest VLOG you will notice the camera angle looks a bit different. That was recorded on a GoPro Hero 6, which is great for travel videos, water sports, and adventures! Did I mention that it is WATERPROOF?! Link (paid) below!

All of my video editing is done on a DELL laptop computer! This camera got me through my BSN program and withstands all the video editing I do weekly! Link (paid) below!

Lighting is a must have when recording videos! I occasionally use this inexpensive ring light… not one of those 500 DOLLAR ones… Fwehhh, could imagine spending that! Link (paid) below!

To get into the anesthesia program, you have to work in ICU for 1-2 yrs. Then Another 4 extensive training once you get accepted to the program. I would do travel nursing now and save as much and pay for school in cash. Goodluck young nurses!

CRNA rates are only going up. During Covid most places realized paying a general anesthesiologist $500k was crazy when CRNA’s can legally do all the same functions. CRNA’s will be making near $300k within the next 5 years. My wife just got into CRNA school 😊

Nursing educator is where it's at. I made 140k (socal) after taxes teaching psych clinicals. Once I started making that money I had 0 interest in getting my crna/np/pa etc. Never got the run around dealing with pts/family or upper management breathing down my neck. I am my own boss. I just watch tiktok and then teach around an assignment towards post conference and that's it!

I'm starting RN school this August and I've been really disillusioned and frustrated by my cna experience in LTC. Watching this to shift my thinking to future choices!

This is great info. You described how to go about obtaining these credentials and the salary details without implementing a whole bunch of useless info wasting time. Loved It

I’m a nurse currently working in a psychiatric hospital in a forensics unit. You don’t need a bachelors and I make more than some of these jobs, likewise when I worked in jails. You don’t need a BSN to be a corrections nurse either.

I've had nurse managers with no bed side experience in 10+ years lol

Nurse Practitioners in alabama over saturated so their wage isn't that much

CRNA is not just a nursing degree. It’s a doctorate degree on top of your RN plus 3 years and 100 k to 200k in tuition. The same with midwifery and NP… so no you can not earn those income just with your RN. The good news is with investment of time, money and energy you can earn degree to give you the potential to earn such incomes.

I'm a PMHNP making 300K plus in private practice, working less than a full-time job. :) So yeah. It's great. It is a demanding job when I am working, but the work-life balance is amazingly better than anything I have ever done in any nursing job in 20-plus years.

After being a nurse for 9 years, I have arrived at one truth. If you are doing this for the money and not because you actually care about the patients, nursing is not the profession for you.

Awesome information! I’ve heard of RN case managers making 200K - 300K per year in California. Pursue what you’re most passionate about, and you’ll be okay.

this is so amazing thanks for sharing. i'm only a pre-nursing student right now so becoming an RN is my goal. but it's cool to know i can go further in the future. i never knew you could do so much with a nursing degree.

I wonder where travel nursing ranks in salary in comparison to those jobs. Also, I read that in order to apply to CRNA school you need at least 1 year of experience in critical care. I think 2 years is preferred though.

All of these jobs require at least a masters not just an RN. That is a lot of time, hardwork and money.

Watsonville and Santa Cruz is not a metropolitan area. A MSN is not required to be a nurse manager in most healthcare organizations in the San Francisco Bay Area. The average salary is starting around $190K annually.

I’m an OR RN and make 121k a year not including differential. I’m currently getting MSN in Informatics . And believe me just to start its 145-155k in my area.

There aren't enough NP jobs for all the NP students. Everyone and their mother and their mother's dog is becoming an NP these days.
