The golf swing is simple and complex. Lots of theories and concepts in a less than a second. As we begin to see, feel, and understand patterns and movements it becomes simple, provided we don't take away personal artistry in the swing. Mark always makes you think.

Brilliant Dr Crossfire. Your daughter's live lessons have a real relevance to those of us seeking "the cure" and looking at and for golfers more like us. Thanks. Ric

Its incredible how golf tuition is changing...gone are the days of put the club here..put the club there
Marcus Bell zen golf teaches almost without ever telling you where to put the club...and masses of work with the force plate and feelings through your feet
For me it was a real eye opener ...i was a lot like your daughter long back swing all my weight on my toes...
I gained clubhead speed without ever trying to swi g the club
Great to see the text book thrown out of the wind...
I was told the golf swing came first not the book..so all this instruction is just whoever's writing the book their interpretation of how they swing it...
Great video

You are a magician. I want a lesson. You by far understand the golf swing and physics more than anyone else I’ve ever watched coach. 👍

Of all the golf instruction online, this video is probably the best, most relatable to me.
Brilliantly explained, my bad habit is s sway away from the ball, actually think trying to get my weight into my right heel is the way to go. 👍👍

This was a fantastic video! To have you discuss more efficient use of lateral movement and weight distribution (and how it's affected by club position in the backswing) is good, but to have you show us the process while working through AND actually explaining the variables involved to help create better path and strike was, truly, remarkable. Thank you Mark!

I’ve been playing 30 years and only this year have been learning how to use the ground properly. Never thought I would ever be a big hitter, but now through lessons I am learning why I didn’t have a powerful swing, I am starting to compress the ball and have the stability to swing it faster. Anybody can improve with lessons. BUT I had to swing differently all the way back to setup. You can’t take a single thing, like push into the ground on downswing, you have to have loaded correctly and I would never have got there without the lessons.

Great video Mark, and great job with patience and perseverance with your daughter. I used to have my daughter throw the ball from the golf swing to give her a feel of how the body moves through the swing. I'd tell her wind up and throw the ball as hard as far as she could down the fairway, but she has to start in the golf swing position and finish facing the target....like skipping a stone. She got the side arm throw down pat and from that day on, she had a beautiful long flowing swing and she could hit the ball a long way. Now she's 20 and thinking about playing again.

Love watching juniors learn the game. Seeing things click in their heads and make sense. Gets exciting to see them progress and improve.

I had this exact conversation with my instructor today. I have the same shift problems. He had me moving and resisting in the same way. Seeing the catalyst data from your daughter has really helped me visualize and understand where I need to load and unload. Thank you!

Thanks mate. My daughter is at that age (14) where she wants to improve. This will help explain things to her.
I’m already loving how adult men stop hitting balls at the range in awe of her swing. 🏌️‍♀️
She’s seeing a PGA professional on a regular basis but this is great data and it’s easy to see the improvement in strike and ball speed.

My dad coached me when I was younger. He played when woods were made of wood and you would swing down on the ball. I stopped playing for 20 years but im back now. Took me time to adjust to the new technology. The irons have been the same thru the years. Dad always played a baseball grip, so I do it also. Never knew about the different grips. Have gone from +30 handicap to +15 in 7 months.

Super cool Mark, very brave of your daughter knowing the will forever be online.

She’s really becoming a very talented young golfer. It’s great to see, can’t wait until my eldest is able to start playing ( if she wants to).
