Today, multiple very important changes for the New World PTR have been announced. Reflexive Health Potions and Reflexive Potions in general have been removed from the PTR for now. We may see them return in the future, but they won't make it into the live patch and would be tested on PTR again before that happens. Along with that, multiple gold farming methods have been changed, both buffed and nerfed. This includes Lost Sack of Coin as well as Iron Hide Farm. Additionally, Trading Post Taxes will be increased. There are also free new skins available on Twitch since the Return to Aeternum players have unlocked the 4th reward, which includes a free Greatsword skin!

Terrible change with the gold and taxes. They keep moving backwards since everyone started coming back.

for someone who works 80 hrs a week, getting a handful of gold here and there has been a nice way to dip into the market and buy things i wouldnt normally have had gold to do so.... Wish they would focus on bugs versus micro managing.

I feel like the reflexive pots need to be made pve only. Balance issue solved. They need to take that pvp/pve only approach to more things TBH.

Ultimately, the iron hide changes are a good idea. If an item is too cheap berfs be coming.

The nerf to sacks of coins seems like a big screw you to casual players. The rich players and 8+ hour a day players don't even see the increase as much. I've never gone out of my way to do anything that gives me the coins it just happens when it happens. But there are people that need the extra bit of coin when they can only play a small amount. It effects the poor and doesn't impact the rich at all.

Good changes, these pots would have break the wars. Inflation has been a thing for a while and im glad they take care of it now. Good job ags as always

Give us loadouts before micromanaging gold income for casuals…… in a game that encourages loadouts… this is taking too long.

Why can't we just have a vendor to sell all the junk gear that is not worth selling on trading post. 300-500g for a Lego 100g for an epic 50for a blue and 15 for greens.

Reflexive potions are fine for pve especially given their cost. Not pvp.

Have you considered making a video of the hatchet build you use in this video?

Ironhide does not need to be more time consuming to gather or its value increased. This is a bot buff, that costs the player double the time/ resources for their ironhide needs. This kind of "balancing" is like a righthanded person deciding that they're going to start using their left hand because it's neglected.
The coin sacks and coin in general to the average player is not an issue. However, coin being funneled to a few hands that own territories is. All that coin going into territory taxes could be a coin-sink. The rewards for owning a territory need a rework. It's not as if other games haven't addressed this same issue. These devs keep making amature decisions.

DukeSloth, Decrease DG gold? Is this serious? It doesn't make sense, this is very unfair, because DG is a very expensive expedition, where we spend to change builds, we spend on portions, incense, sharpening stone, very expensive items, at least I spend more than 1k for make a single DG. She would have to be more profitable.

Just make it so we can turn thick and iron hide into rawhide, the whole leather economy is beyond poorly thought out. Or make it so only some mobs drop it OR a bit is dropped with higher amounts or chances per any animal.
Like what did you think was going to happen when you make more than 65%of the animals drop resources which are needed many times less than the very basic version of the resource.
And yeah, let's make the game less enjoyable for people who came back by slapping them with taxes and less gold. Dungeons were, even if ur an average scrub decent for making money. Guess they're back to being useless unless you're an experienced player running mutations all day.

The only thing the tax does is increase the margins between items, its still going to be profitable to flip. It also sinks gold which is probably what they're really aiming for

I love how you use CyberPunk music from Judy’s mission.

The tax change works to combat Arbitrage, which in theory is good. But gimping gold generation that mostly on benefits new/low-level players is a poor choice. How long until we're back at 13k concurrent players with AGS speed running scaring people off...?
