Wow, thanks for sharing. I try to explain how having a Prosthetic changes your life to others and I find it challenging because there's so many unknowns until you cross the proverbial road

Wow. I would think they were a little tougher. I had the rear part of the foot cut through the heel, but it was still usable.

I could have told you that.
My dad and I, along with a few friends were going to go flying one day. We were just going up for a flying lesson (my dad was a CFI) and would be coming back to the plane. But we were just a bit overweight, so we left my leg in the car.
We didn't consider the possibility that maybe, for some reason, we couldn't get back to the car. For example, we might have a problem with the plane that could require a precautionary landing at another airport..
Long story short the leg was in the car quite a bit longer than we anticipated. The heat was not at all good for it.

Holy Fahrenheit, Christina! Never had that problem yet. How did your MPK knee adapt to the temp change after being in normal temps?

What is your back up prosthetic foot mine is a Soleus. My main on is a Triton smart ankle. Both made by Ottobock.

I left my leg in the sun while I swam and the flexible part inside my socket was starting to melt. Very uncomfortable to wear a prosthetic out in the beating sun. 👎 one of the not so fun parts of being an amputee.

Scuzzie the pun but it looks like its on it's last legs anyway. How old is such part? I'm Calling BS and I don't mean Brittany Spears. I mean you can leave footwear like runnerz and shit in the car Or back yard and they hold up.
