I really don't get it!
So someone stopped and took the time to photograph both Ben & Liam and the vehicle you use with Liam's business on it and then posts the pictures and reports you but could not be bothered to actually take the time to REALLY LOOK and take notice that you were actually putting the rubbish in the truck and cleaning up the site. People are unbelievable! I truly hope this person did not cause any problems to either of you or harm to Liam's business.

I got reported for fly tipping too, people on Facebook posting photos and calling me a scruff. What they didn't know, is that I had an agreement in place with my local council. They supply me with bags. I collect up the litter and leave all the bags in one place for the council to collect.
In one day I collected 23 full bags, 5 shopping trolleys, two car tyres, loads of shopping baskets, a bike, a microwave etc etc and piled it all up neatly in the pre arranged spot.
Not one person spoke to me, asked what I was doing, or why. It was.much easier for them to post some shit to FB and call me names.

Last week I did send an email to Bexley, urging them to give you a free entry to the dump.
Ben, please let us know which location you’re using, and we can let the council know, their weird combination of ‘doing nothing’ and ‘making volunteers pay’ is widely noticed.

You inspired us here in Perthshire, Flawless Team. My daughters and I are picking up litter from fly tipping sites in our rural area. The council are good at lifting the majority but we are making sure there’s nothing left. 4 bags and a tyre last weekend.

What annoys me about this, aside from the fly tipping in general, is that so much of this is commercial waste. Recycling centres may be expensive to use, but these people have priced the cost of disposal into their quote for work, and then they're just dumping their customers' old kitchens / bathrooms in public places to make an extra buck. I know I'd be furious if I knew a tradesman I'd hired was doing that.

It's been said many times before, but it is worth repeating, that you should be given a 'special license' by the local council for you to use the dump for free for disposing of all this waste that they, the council, ought to be cleaning up.

Well done all of you. Many years ago we were getting rubbish left near our house in Northallerton, North Yorkshire. I spoke to the council and they said we should pay! After a few phone calls and many promises it never moved. I had a few days off, I wrapped up an old carpet and went to find the top man in the council, the receptionist told me he was in a meeting and not to go in. I walked into a room full of people and asked for the person, he looked up. I emptied the stinking carpet on his desk and had a few words! After that any rubbish was collected very quickly. We pay our taxes and these people should look after decent residents.

I’m in SC USA and we can take our rubbish for free to our local dumps, as well as larger things to the landfill. This alone really cuts down the illegal dumping problem.

Years ago, my family owned a small grocery store. Trash for many years was picked up every week free of charge. Then, one year, the village decided to start changing. A very nominal fee. Home owners had to buy stickers to put on their bags. $1.25 per sticker. Cheap. But, some people did not want to even pay that. The store had a dumpster that kept filling up with other peoples’ garbage! Costing my family more to have it emptied . So, my dad, started opening up these trash bags, looking through the crap, until he found evidence of who dumped it. Then, he would find that house, bring their bag of garbage and dump it on their front door. The illegal dumping stopped!

Is it just me or does all that trash look distinctly like construction debris? If I had to guess I would say that there's a shady contractor doing renovations in Bexley. Maybe the Council should start looking at building permits and complaints about shody construction work... as if slobs like these fly tippers even bother with permits!
