Couple tired of cleaning up after their neighbor's excessive tree debris

A Las Vegas couple is frustrated with having to constantly clean up the debris that's all over their yard caused by their neighbor's trees.

Yes that woman seems totally sane and rational. I am sure communicating with her is a grand pleasure. I wonder how long she nagged her neighbor before he finally just gave up and stopped listening.

That tree is probably older than the entire neighbourhood. So they might have considered choosing a different house if some pine needles were a problem.

Our neighbor from PA moved in next door about 3 yrs ago. She has slowly removed our wild shrubs and treeline that was here before my family got here 50 yrs ago. It had been there for decades, and we've always enjoyed not having to see the backs of our neighbors homes. I did explain to her when she complained to me about our trees that we, and the previous neighbor valued our privacy and that was why it was there, and also that we and the previous neighbor had always just kept our sides trimmed. Now, she has and is killing off all of the vegetation growing on our fence with weed killer, and has cut down everything on her side of our fence despite the fact that 4 ft. on that side is ours. When confronted about this she claimed that our yard was overgrown and obstructing her view of the lake. She has now created a clear view of our vehicles and front door. When we told her for the third time to stop killing and cutting our foliage, she then began to claim that she has been taking care of our property! We did not want our trees and shrubs removed! Nobody asked or gave her permission to do this!
She did not purchase a home with a lake view! What is wrong with people? :-(

We had the same situation, however completely different attitude. Knew we were buying a house with a pool surrounded by beautiful, privacy giving peace. We scooped a lot of stuff from that beautiful pool, sometimes twice a day. loved our peaceful paradise. Bought new property now considering putting the pool near the trees. Makes your pool way more usable in the blistering, Texas sun... more work=more enjoyable

I had a pool service for @ 20years and was amazed at how little consideration was given regarding the foliage near the pool. Those pine trees have been there maybe @75 years or so and are one of if not the worst type of tree for a pool area. Maybe if this couple offered to pay to have some major trimming done their neighbor might go for it.
