A messy, cluttered house is a battle in most household's where children are present! (let's be honest, even when they aren't present it can be a challenge when life gets so busy). If you are like me, and cleaning (tidying) is not exactly the love of your life, and you can quickly feel overwhelmed... then I will share a few tips that I do when trying to get on top of a messy house!

Janine, may I say a word or two of caution from experience. When I was a kid my brother climbed into the counter to reach the candy in the upper cabinets. He fell and hit his mouth on the countertop and he bit his tongue %99 off. It was held on by only a "string". He was rushed to emergency to have his tongue sewn back on. I guess as a kid you want to help or want to reach too high...

My youngest son has a head scar from running to jumping on a sofa and hit a hard object close by instead.

Hey, I am a overly cautious mom too. I watched my kids like a hawk 24/7. But they still get into danger when you turn your back or when you have to use the bathroom...

We love them so much. Even now when my three are 51, 49, 47... 😱 I am always praying God please watch over our kids. God bless you, Dawn

My whole house is a mess, I’m overwhelmed and simply can’t get myself to do it. I’m watching this to encourage my self that this is possible, I’m not a messy person, I’m not lazy and that I can do this. My deadline is tomorrow so I need majority done today with just least minute stuff for tomorrow. Wish me luck on my anxiety/adhd filled cleaning journey.

I've listened to tons of decluttering videos since the new year and while I have learned something from each one, your video today makes things seem "doable". I love how excited Xander is about his sister... and how he enjoyed looking through the outfits for her. He is also growing into quite a helper! Have a wonderful weekend!

Twice daily we have a "door to door" cleaning. Our living/kitchen/dining connect the front and back door so I feel like if the front of the house is presentable and walkable from door to door I can forget what waits down the hall to the "back" of the house.

I just love kid excitement over babies and their things 😍 Xander is mister personality, I so hope his humor follows him into adulthood!
