Thank you for mentioning good old fashioned paper copies! I love my devices as much as the next person, but depend on paper copies of everything. Also I agree with going directly to your gate to make sure nothing has changed.

I have learned to travel carry on luggage only! Saves time and headaches! It is good to know the carry on bag size and weight restrictions, especially for European airlines.

Love your videos and I share them often...
Retired airline fares person here...direct flight is not the same as a non-stop flight. Non-stop is point A to point B, direct is point A, with stop in point B and carries on to point C, all on same plane. That is a direct flight. Even airline people use this term incorrectly. 😅😊🤔

I like using the “hop on/hop off” buses to get a “lay of the land.

I once took a photo of my parking lot sign so I could find my car when I came back. But, lo and behold, my phone died on the trip and I couldn’t find my car! Fortunately, although I usually have a terrible memory, my brain did go into overdrive and I found it without assistance. But I was quite worried.

I love my direct morning flight out of Raleigh to Seattle once a year. It almost never gets cancelled and I have wiggle room in Seattle if issues arise trying to get home to Alaska. Personally hate larger airports and consider them a necessary "evil" of flying. It always seems like come in and leave from the farthest apart gates possible, and nothing ever happens to that 2 or 3 hour conbection window you gave yourself.😆 🤣

I'm flying internationally this week. I am a bit stressed at finding the gate from my domestic flight. I do have a taxi scheduled to take me to the hotel, so that is one worry off my shoulders. Thanks for all the information I've gathered from your videos over the last few months. 😊

I have a travel tip!! I fly every other month and have been for 8 years now…
WHEN BUYING A SUITCASE, bring a suitcase scale and weigh the suitcases that you’re looking at buying. This weight adds to your checked bag weight so buy the lightest one that you like. I did that because the suitcase I had seemed like I couldn’t pack as much in to make it too heavy. After realizing that the suitcase alone weighed a lot.

I just flew in MEM international airport and LAX and thankfully we didn’t have to separate our liquids or snacks from our personal or carry on bags. MEM Intl airport has the new scanners that look like a MRI body scanner! 🎉🎉❤❤

Thought I recognized RDU in your B roll. It’s my home airport as well.😊

I no longer use a travel insurance clearing house to purchase insurance. I do use them to compare policies but then go directly to the insurance company’s website. I save a significant amount that way (hundreds of dollars, in some cases). Also, read the policy limits CAREFULLY! A policy I had when I got Covid in Scotland paid less than half of my outlay, and I was extremely frugal in my expenses.

Please stop with the surprised facial expressions on your thumbnails. You're too good for that.
Great tips!

I live in Chattanooga so I take a flight from Chattanooga to Atlanta but I get the earliest I can from Chattanooga so I have time to relax in Atlanta and I go through TSA in a smaller airport!!!!

I have access to airport lounges; so, I look for the location of lounges of the airports I fly through.

I fly out of Orlando which is over an hour from my home. I stay overnight in a hotel that has extended parking so I can leave my car there and not worry about getting to my flight on time.
