She's underrated. Said it for years. Ever since the school shooting scene to the media in One Tree Hill was cut out I knew she owns her skills. I hope she finds something she loves.

I'm happy she left. Sure, I'll miss #Linstead on the show (I'm on season 3 rn, idk if they're still a thing in s4) but imo it's better to quit than to do something that makes you unhappy. About her reason to leave - it's none of my business to discuss about, what she wants is the most important in this situation. I loved Erin's storyline from the pilot all to this point, and Sophia has done a great job portraying her. I'm really looking forward to seeing her next project!

The thing that pisses me off more than just the fact that she had to quit her dream job because of a man that couldn't be decent enough to treat her with respect, is that she told them that she would leave if things didn't change and instead of changing and creating a better work environment they just decided to keep things the way they were and let her go.

Gotta say I love Sophia Bush she’s an incredible actress as well as she has grown into a strong confident woman and I will miss her on Chicago PD but I applauded her for taking a stand it’s hard enough even working a job you love with 12 to 16 hour days but when it’s made intolerable something must give you go Sophia and best of luck too you

Yes but what exactly did she want to change? This hasn’t cleared anything up at all 🙄
The show hasn’t been the same, and not just because she left, Tracy Spiridakos has done a great job of filling the hole Sophia’s character left behind but I hate that all her plots were hastily ended, especially when her and Halstead had their love arch building since season 1, the shitty, bickering conclusion that they tried to throw at us was pitiful. But I suppose they did the best they can under the circumstances, as much as I would have hated it; it probably would have been more effective to kill her off.

Pretty simple why she left.

Mark Schwann of One Tree Hill was inappropriate around the female cast on that show. He caused Hilarie Burton to quit after season 6. Sophia stuck it out for 9 years, moved to Chicago PD and then got the same treatment from Jason Beghe as well as an unsympathetic response from Dick Wolf, who did absolutely f**k all about it. I think after 9 years of crap before, Sophia decided she'd had enough.

I can't watch Chicago PD now. Erin was my favourite character. She was more or less forced off the show and that really pisses me off. A talented and smart actress forced to quit a show to escape sexual harassment and intimidation. Plus now I know what kind of people Jason Beghe and Dick Wolf are, it's ruined it for me. I refuse to watch any of the Chicago franchise now.

It's sad she left, but if Jay Halstead (played by Jesse Lee Soffer) leaves, I'd probably stop watching the show.

It sounds to me that she just got overwhelmed with the work. People think TV acting is easy, it isn't. They shoot for 12-18 hours a day 5-6 days a week for 2-3 months at time. Yes they make tons of money but that has got to be emotionally, mentally and physically exhausting.

Just wondering how come she's the only one who's having problem with the people on the show? Everyone seems having a good time. Marina and Tracy seems to get along with the others (talking about the harrassment issue)
