Why Sophia Bush Left ‘Chicago P.D.’

Earlier this week, “Extra’s” Mario Lopez spoke to Sophia Bush at Universal Studios Hollywood, where she opened up about her decision to walk away from her hit show “Chicago P.D.”

Bush said, “I woke up one day and realized I hadn’t had a day off in 15 years.”

She added, “I went straight from junior year of college to ‘One Tree Hill’ and suddenly you realize your life is going by and you’re working 100 hours a week.”

After taking a much needed break, Sophia is “excited” to be back to work, promoting her new film “The Incredibles 2.”

“The Incredibles 2” hits theaters June 15.

I miss Erin Lindsay as much as the next fan, but Sophia's happiness is more important than any TV show. I still love Chicago PD and I think Tracy Spiridakos is a brilliant addition to the cast. Life moves on. I'm glad Sophia's doing what she wants to do. I can't wait for her next project.

She changing her story now. At the start of season 3, she went to the execs and shared a problem that had existed amongst the cast. She said now that they know about it, they had a whole season to fix it. If not she was leaving. They didn't fix it, she left. Simple as that.

God, I love her voice. I also loved her on One Tree Hill, even though Ive only seen a few episodes. Her character was very funny drunk.lol Superhero-wise... she'd be perfect as X-Men's Rogue. The X-Men animated series that ran from 1992 to 1997, but maybe without the big hair. MAYBE. idk. Along with Rogue natural ability absorption of memories and powers, she could also be super strong smashing through walls and throwing tanks and stuff as well as being able to fly. And dont get me started on the Southern Belle's accent done with Sophia's voice. Lord, have mercy!

I love and respect Sophia--I think she's strong, beautiful, and an inspiration--but with the videos I've watched, her story of why she left keeps changing or is inconsistent. Don't beat around the bush, don't go around the question...I know she's honest with her fans on most things. She needs to be honest on the true reason she left PD (without incriminating anyone, respectfully), so people can stop making assumptions, starting rumors, or making wild guesses. That would put many people's minds at ease, especially fans that have been watching PD since the beginning. I hope she comes to forgive the person or people that wronged her...she may be free of that person or persons, but she won't be mentally, emotionally, or psychologically free herself if she doesn't forgive.

Erin will be starring in a new NBC series called This is us so the chances of her returning to Chicago PD are very unlikely she just didn't want that anymore.

I really thought i would not enjoy watching the show anymore because she left. But suprisingly, i still love the show. I don't even miss her character and i actually think it's much better now that she's gone. I think she left because the small screen is not enough for her anymore.
