The year is 2024,
Every type of enneagram type has been explained on Josh’s channel. Everyone watching knows which type they are, are more in touch with themselves, and are better people for it. Life is good.

Can't wait for mine, the type 9, in probably only 7 years! Lol in all seriousness this is an amazing series and I appreciate the depth you go into in each video. Looking forward to the rest of the types.

I’m so happy that you used Fred Rogers as an example of a healthy Type 2. As a Type 2 myself, I have always looked up to Mr. Rogers for his humility and empathy towards others. Thank you for making this!

My mom is a 2. She's a very unselfish person who has helped a lot of people and animals and has been a rock to our family. Unfortunately, though, she's the only consistently dependable person in our family, and the rest of the family has constantly taken from her and given little back. Understandably, my mom often gets stressed out and resentful, because she has so many people and animals who depend on her, but she doesn't get any help.

I can’t imagine how many hours of writing and editing you put into these videos.. Your explanation of each type are super interesting tight-knit packages, thank you!

The bit on Boromir hit hard... I had pegged him as a Three, but him being a Two makes so much more sense. And thanks for pointing out Nines! Your videos are exactly what I've been looking for since I discovered the Enneagram. Now to distract myself until the next video comes out...

This is my absolute favorite enneagram series. Showing movie characters as examples of enneagram types really fleshes out my understanding of the enneagram in a way that pure theory doesn't quite do it. I feel like these videos help me to understand other types on a deeper level, not just through superficial stereotypes.

This was wow. Just amazing. From Lotso to Mr. Rogers. As a type 2w1, I feel called out, humbled and seen in new ways. I think the most beautiful thing for a human to recognize is that yes I am broken, and that is beautiful all the same.

Was waiting for this one. It’s always easier to spot the unhealthy levels of a 2 and harder to find them when they integrate because of how little emphasis they put on themselves outwardly, so really appreciated the insight to the healthier characters. As a 2 the shame of existing bit hit harder than I was expecting, even though I’ve read many enneagram books, somehow when it’s brought up it always feels like a new kick to the gut 😂 Beautiful video. Thank you for all the research and work you did for this. Really appreciate it!

Another example of a 2 would be Maui from Moana. He covers up his insecurity with pride, like you mentioned, but he essentially did all of these things for humanity so they'd give him the love he never got from his parents. It's pretty much spelled out word for word in the movie: "You took the heart for them. You did everything for them, so they'd love you."

God this made me cry. I’ve had to do a lot of soul searching lately because of a breakup and an unhealthy expectation that my ex and I would get back together (spoiler alert, absolutely not) and I really recognize now, as a two myself, that a lot of my unhealthy coping around the situation was focused on how I appeared to them, and others during the healing process. I do resonate very much with the idea of being ashamed to be alive, and needing to make up for the fact that I’m myself by over performing for others. It all hurts to hear so frankly, but it’s all true. This video is helping me see what I can do to be better for myself alone, and how that’s valuable in itself.

Your videos are so solid. I really appreciate the care and level of detail you put into your videos. I’m currently going through the Beatrice Chestnut professional certification and using the Enneagram in my professional work. I look forward to being able to share these videos with my clients to help them understand their type more. Thank you so much for all your hard work.

The Mr. Rodgers analysis made me cry. as a type 8, I can really resonate with type 2 at times. This analysis felt so spot on and intimate.

Excellent video! I envy those folks in the future who can watch the videos on all 9 types in one sitting. For now I will content myself with eagerly awaiting your next video. Thanks for all of your work here, it is appreciated.

The Room is legitimately a type-2 horror story. The people you’ve selflessly devoted yourself towards and curated close relationships with for years turn out to have never loved or respected you, and were taking advantage of you the entire time.

That daniel tiger and heart triad analysis starting at 15:20 was a frigging gut punch 👊 😭.
