Homemade Egg rolls with duck sauce

New Orleans native Charlie Andrews demonstrates how to make homemade egg rolls with duck sauce. Egg rolls are a prominent part of Chinese American cuisine. It consists of a cabbage filling with either meat or seafood, wrapped with a thin flour dough and fried in hot oil. It is dipped in duck, plum, soy or mustard sauce. The duck sauce is also made from scratch. It consists of homemade apricot preserves with vinegar, and soy sauce. It is cooked down until thickened and cooled before serving. This recipe makes 6 large egg rolls and 1 cup of duck sauce. It's a classic American Chinese appetizer and it's absolutely delicious. Hope you all will give this recipe a try.
