During Endgame... after the Avengers compound was struck, we see Rodey crawling through the rubble trying to get suited and his forehead was bleeding RED

Theory:
He was probably going through a tough time after Tony's death, and the Skrulls took advantage of that... since he was probably the weakest avenger physically but with a high status

My theory is that Rhodey has been a Skrull ever since Iron Man 2.
Terrence Howard is the real Rhodey, with Don Cheadle being a Skrull.

In Endgame, he needed the Iron-man tech to walk. In Secret Invasion, he didn't. He's not been a Skrull that long.

I dont think Rhodey is a skrull in endgame because I dont think marvel will make a skrull cry in tony side when he dies so my theory is that rhodey is a skrull in falcon and the winter soldier

I think he's only been a Skrull in FATWS in terms of appearances we've seen. It would actually hurt his character a lot and make Tony's death seem less emotional if the guy was essentially faking being sad, even if the Skrull form actually grew to like Tony

I think he became a skrull AFTER Endgame. That makes the most sense as he never had a major appearance after that and so a skrull could've easily slipped in when he was off doing his own thing.

Either that or he was kidnapped whilst grieving Tony's death

Rhodey has been a skull since after endgame.

Evidence 1 - His talk with Antman, “What’s up regular sized man?” This is Referencing his line in Civil War, “woah, tiny dudes is big now, he’s big now.” How would the skrull know to say this?

Evidence Two - A conversation in Iron Man 3, “I’m sorry, they’re only coded to me…I got your back” Tony says his suits are only permitted to be used by those with access. While a skrull would be able to copy his dna, they wouldn’t be able to copy his personality, or his password, and therefore, couldn’t use his suits.

Evidence 3 - Rhodey’s suit is disabled after Thanos’ attack in Endgame, he ejects from it and crawls to save Rocket. Why would a Skrull do this? Why not just get up and run?

Counter point 1 - The hospital gown. Rhodey had a fucking building fall on him, of course he went to the hospital afterwards.

Counter point 2 - Iron Man 2 - This just doesn’t work. Basically all of Rhodey’s character development throughout the MCU was for nothing. Everything from him kicking ass with stark in Iron Man 2, to his Badassery in Iron Man 3, his appearance in Age of Ultra, and his arc during Infinity War and Endgame.

Simply, Rhodey was replaced by a Skrull in between Avengers Endgame and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

Definitely Civil War. Him getting hospitalized was the perfect time to switch him out. Plus in the finale, Real Rhodey had the hospital gown on.

I think rhodey has been a skrull after endgame as nick fury personally sent gravik to collect the harvest. It means gravik went rogue only after the endgame.
