I knew he looked a bit different in iron man 2

The ultimate troll would be if they were to put Terrance Howard at the end when they freed imprisoned people from skrull base

I should've known. I mean, Don Cheadle replaced Terrence Howard and no one batted an eye.

I knew he was a Skull because it wasn’t Terence Howard 😂 😂

His reaction on the park bench implies he discovered something ....that reaction he had definitely wanted viewers to know something hit nick fury deeply. Was it because he discovered rhodey is....not rhodey or is the situation at hand is causing too much pressure?...hmmmm i wonder. 🤔

End of the day..the way he was just talking so reckless to fury..should have raised bells..but it's Don Cheadle also🤣🤣

The Acting in this was top notch, these exchanges Fury has with the other characters were pure gems.

Not wearing his mech legs had to have been a clue

The fact that Rhodey might have been a Skrull since Civil War is baffling

You're putting more thought into this than the writers did.

His whole entire character made it obvious he was a Skrull cause Rhody would never speak to Fury that way ever if his bosses told or forced him to Fire Fury he wouldn’t have did it that Manner so it was obvious to me they made him a Skrull ! How I didn’t think he was a Skrull for that long tho I thought he was 1 about 1 or 2 years at the least but apparently he been 1 for 7 years in Cannon meaning even during the Avengers movies he was one. That I wasn’t expecting

Tony would of figured out the skrull situation by making a tech that discovers skrulls nearby

Totally. I knew he was a scrull from that interaction. I was wrong about a lot else going on considering it wasn't actually a spy thriller show, for some reason. There were actually a few giveaways in their conversation. One is that he didn't react the way Rhodes would have when finding out about Skrulls. If that was really Rhodes, hr would have been diverted by that to insist on knowing more and reassessing his current tactics, which would have involved a lot more intensive debrief of Fury. What's more, after knowing a Skrull infiltration was involved, he still went ahead and laid the blame for America's allies switching allegiances to Russia on Fury. The real Rhodes would have admitted that Skrulls would have invalidated any such claim without first gaining more intelligence. His insistance on pushing that narrative drove home that it was part of an agenda he was pushing so he would have grounds to fire Fury. Even how he sat there so nonchalantly as Fury dismantled his security betrayed it wasn't him. Rhodes was too much of a military man to sit by idley as one of his men were injured like that. Instead, it exposed the Skrulls disdain for her gaurds.
I hadn't even picked up on Rhodes calling Fury Nick until they made such a big stink about it in the next episode. That was a big hint to us who missed it that it was a big point to remember and maybe go back and check on things

Just watching a clip of this scene gave the game away for me, the way he spoke to Fury alone told me he was a skrull

Just thought the Nick was a way to show him hes no longer the Fury we knew. Its everyones biggest point in the show- hes not the same after the blip, now hes fired and really has nothing, hes not strong enough to tell people how to act with him anymore, hes just an old man named Nick, not the legendary Fury.

The part about him only going by "Fury" only came up in Captain Marvel. In Winter Soldier, Alexander Pierce called him "Nick."

There is also the fact that after Avengers Civil War Rody got hurt and needed leg supports to walk but in this show he did not use them.
