The war machine suit was meant for him. With the security that Tony had, there would be no way that Rhody would be able to take it. Especially since the suits are wired towards specific people.

I honestly think Rhodey will be a much larger aspect of the MCU now that Tony is gone. I am really hyped for Armor Wars as War Machine is one of my favorite avengers, alongside Iron Man and Doctor Strange. What I expect to see is a much larger threat like Galactus threatening the multiverse, Rhodey becoming a genius like Tony, discovering godlike armor and tech and fighting the threat alongside Doctor Strange and other characters. I really hope he plays a massive part in phase 4 of the MCU. Honestly, War Machine is WAY TOO underrated. He is actually just Iron Man but a pilot and has insane firepower. So, all in all, really love Rhodes and am extremely hyped for his upcoming appearances. (p.s. where does all that ammo come from)

I remember that as soon as iron man came out, I wished that they would come up with an iron man suit that was black and silver!! War machine is sooo a badass and is exactly what I was looking for. Only if his eye lights were either white or yellow 😅😅

And was never in infinity war or endgame it was a skrull as shown to us all now. So his last appearance as his true self was civil war
