Instead of watching the awful news on television first thing in the morning I’m listening to your comments on YouTube. This particular was very applicable. Thank you for your continued efforts.

I love the piano analogy so much! This is how I explain the process to people. It's EXACTLY like learning a new song on the piano. After tons of repetition it becomes automatic. It's tedious and annoying sometimes but it works. This is coming from someone who has zero talent for piano but I know how to play the notes lol!

This is great, Dan, thank you for explaining this simple yet crucial process of learning (and unlearning) pain. The trees and background add a nice touch of serenity too..

It is a balance. Doing enough of what’s required continually as you say but not overdoing this work either. and Some days I get it right and others I don’t. Today is very hot here in the UK. Both my body and brain have decided to take the day off. Unusual for me but it’s been bliss. I’ve just flopped and listened to a non taxing audio book, had a bbq, meditated. I had a strenuous yoga session booked but didn’t show up. Later when it cools down I’ll go for a stroll. The right call today.

Thank you for these videos, they really resonate with me as I’ve been dealing with general and health anxiety the last two years.

I love this one Dan. Thank you, I don't have to believe negative thoughts, fake news, or alternative facts. Thanks brain for protecting me growing up but I've got this now. I have my power back. 💪

You videos helped me rewire my brain today by getting out and doing interesting stuff, despite the symptoms! Worked at the church clean-up day, went to the lunch afterwards, and had a wonderful walk on the beach! This rewiring stuff can be a lot of fun. 🙂

I started piano lessons in my thirties. I played in five recitals. I was so nervous my hands were shaking making it impossible to play ; however somehow I played the songs pretty well. Maybe a little choppy. But I definitely had them memorized so much I wasn’t thinking. So. Great analogy
