Silver Dollar commonly kept with Cichlids

I once had cichlids but changed to marine, I had so many different types of peacocks they looked lovely with all there different patterns

Never seen silver dollar in with African cichlids. Different for sure.

Silver dollars are great with cichlids (especially oscars)!

The only downside of silver dollars is they are very skittish fish.

Got silver dollars with Africans iin a tank Ilook after at doctor surgery. Working well have not had any issues with tank mates. Silver dollars are wrecking the fake plants but thats a minor problem to have.

I once tried adding 4 silver dollars to a Cichlid tank(Mayan Cichlid), but they were all too timid and refused to leave the rear of the aquarium. The Mayan either terrified them or, at the time, I was just too anxious. Anyway, after a few days I removed them and never again tried a non Cichlid match in that aquarium. Also, aren’t silver dollars herbivores?
