I keep giant danios in three mbuna tanks with great success. They live very harmoniously and bring the mbuna out a lot more

I also use filament barbs or barbs from that family depending on your size tank. they add character as well

I have solver dollars, eureka red and a pair of convict cichlids. Works great for me, until breeding time. LoL

From what I’ve read silver dollars seem like a popular dither fish for larger and more assertive tankmates

I also like how their flashy, silver bodies forms a nice complement to things like colorful cichlids and prehistoric-looking predators like bichirs or unusual oddballs stingrays

They’re also described as being very hardy and peaceful, with the one things to really watch out for being their size and destructive attitude towards plants, but if you’re already keeping big/predatory fish then you should already be prepared for that anyways

There’re kinda skittish to though, right? Maybe I’m thinking of the blackberry silver dollar

hi, do you know a cool small freshwater fish that can stay in 80° with ph 6.8-7.2 kg 15° and gh 6-16°?

People who keep them together do not buffer their water for cichlids and as such I think it’s wack
