Heroic woman saving an 11-year old girl from being abducted caught on CCTV

The woman is seen confronting a man who had just pounced on the youngster as she came out of a newsagent in south-east London and was trying to convince her to leave with him. Security camera footage obtained exclusively by MailOnline shows the woman walking past the pair only moments earlier with a black shopping bag over her shoulder - before returning to tell the would-be abductor to go away. The Metropolitan Police has issued images of two men they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.

That's how you protect vulnerable people, always intervene if you find something is not right; walking away or looking other way in such a situation is an easy but immoral option.

Just takes us, the vast majority, paying a little bit of attention to what’s going on around us to prevent so many awful things in this world. I’d say well done to the lady, but I’d also expect nothing less from any random person in the street. These monsters are a minority thankfully, and we don’t ever want them to forget that fact
