You saved my day, thank you so much! Basically the water tank was running constantly so I bought a spare part, when I got home I realised that was the wrong part, and was already Saturday, all shops are shut, on Sunday are not working, and the most issue is that I got one valve for both water tank and the bathroom sink, so shutting the water tank pipe valve would mean shutting the entire water in my bathroom.
Found that the washer had some debris cleared it and it worked! Thank u so much sir! 🙏

Had watched other videos which only explained in part, this video helped me finally solve my problem with water continuing to run and it was down to not lining up the marks when replacing the washer! Thanks so much! Saved me paying out ££££s for what was a simple fix!

Thank you, that little tip to get the rubber aligned at the top has made all the difference, now at last the water has shut off....and for good as I was about to call out a plumber...!!

The little nozzle was disconnected. Your video helped me find and fix it. Thanks a lot! 🤑

Good to see someone work on the inlet valve instead of the flush, and show us what happens when it's not fitted properly, most helpful,

Thanks so much for this, I did exactly the same as you. I replaced the rubber fitted everything back together and yes it still leaked. There are 2 notches to align inner and outer. If you don’t get them both aligned properly then it will still leak. Thanks again.

Thank you for taking the time to post this. It worked a charm! (after I managed to line up the valve notches properly. Glad I wasn't on hourly rates...)

Mine was filling very very slowly I replaced the rubber seal and now it won't stop filling 😂 help!
Fitted old one and was slowly filling so at least I knew it wasn't the actual whole unit. Finally after many attempts I got it to work!

Doing mine. It's easier if you take the plastic arm away from the round plastic thread. When you go to put the thread back on you can align the notch perfectly and the plastic arm doesn't get in the way.

Perfect that little rubber thing was what was wrong with mine. Nearly fully degraded
