So useful! I thought it lifted off without a screw (as shown on someone else video, perhaps a similar but not identical product) so this finally makes sense, I thought the lid was somehow stuck and I couldn't fathom how!

Just bought my first house today and the toilet was overflowing and the overflow was going into the yard. Now the yard is constantly damp. Now, I’ve adjusted a cistern before but I came to this one and it was sealed! My system is a little different to the one you show but I was able to get the job done and now the yard can dry out.
